[Xitami] php and xitami

i couldnt get this thing to load, it completed the D.L.from the website your recommended ok and then when I ran it it said it could not continue...? duh, should i move this over to XP Pro or Y2K Pro and load swampwamp or whatever; it seems like a very comprehensive program...how will it work with Xitami cgi-?THX
